The work as a fashion photographer is nothing short of fantastic. In contrast to the beauty genre, here it is not the make-up that should speak loudest but more clothes, bags, shoes and other accessories.
The product and the model are paramount and the posing and lighting must be top class. There is also room here to play with light, lamps, expressions, etc. As a photographer, you have greater freedom to play with angles, poses and other means of action.

My work process as a fashion photographer
We have an initial online meeting with all the impractical things about wishes, time, place, clothes, vibe, studio vs. Location and much more. I am happy to help with feedback on model selection. I can easily also be hired to scout and book models and artists (makeup, hair, clothes)
When you arrive at the studio, we have a chat and go over the day's program so that everyone is involved in what is going to happen. There is time for practical tasks while the models are in the hair/makeup chair, such as getting the clothes ready, steaming, etc. We start shooting and the images are ticked live on the computer screen, so you are always involved in what is happening.
Together we see the images live on the screen so we can quickly see what works and what needs to be adjusted. Here you can also mark all the favorites along the way and it is based on these that you have to select the final ones to be edited from home.
When I have your selections, these are sent to a professional retoucher who refines the beautiful images, in a super natural edit where wounds, impurities, stubble, creases in the shirt, etc. will be corrected and refined. If a more in-depth retouch / manipulation is desired, this can always be arranged separately. Next, I send the files to you in digital form, in both web and print resolution, but also in TIFF format, so that you always have the large files for graphic work

I photograph in my own photo studio in Copenhagen, but can also come to you
For me, fashion photography is more than just pictures – it's a passion for telling stories through visual expressions. When I shoot fashion photos, it's about capturing more than just clothes; it's about creating moods, evoking emotions and shaping a universe where every element plays together to create a story. I love working with the creative and the aesthetic, where colors, composition and poses merge to make the clothes appear exclusive and with a "high end" expression.
My approach to fashion photography is strongly inspired by the so-called "editorial" style. This style is often used in fashion magazines and is about presenting clothes and fashion in an artistic and narrative way, where every detail – from lighting to the model's posing – contributes to a strong visual story. It's a way of bringing fashion to life that makes the images more than just advertising; it becomes an artistic expression that speaks to something bigger than just the products.
The commercial aspect is also something that fascinates me, because even when the goal is to highlight clothes in a promotional way, I love to add a creative edge. Making fashion feel beautiful, exclusive while creating a visual story that inspires is what drives me. Every photo session is an opportunity to create something unique, where I can use my passion for storytelling, color and aesthetics to create images that not only look good, but also feel good to look at.
I love how poses, lighting and shadows can completely change the mood of an image and add an extra layer of depth to the story. It is this combination of the creative and the commercial that makes fashion photography so fascinating to me – it is my way of telling a story through fashion, where both the aesthetic and the emotional play a central role.
