I do it! I dare!!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Jumps out as a full-time independent photographer<\/span><\/h2>\n

Is there anything more anxiety provoking than imagining a future without financial income??<\/span><\/p>\n

Not for me\u2026. my inner anxiety, of not having an income and being able to support myself. It has always guided me in my professional duties\u2026. for over 20 years I have done \u201cwhat is expected\u201d of a woman of her adult age\u2026 and as I have grown older the expectation and obligations have only become greater and greater\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I picked up the camera for the first time almost 4 years ago, I knew that THIS - this is what I have to do for the rest of my career.... until I can't see anymore and you have to wring the camera out of my creaking arthritic fingers\u2026\u2026 but it's one thing to THINK it\u2026.. another is reality. And then the inner anxiety demon steps forward and starts whispering ALL the reasons NOT to become a full-time photographer\u2026.. all the reasons why I should keep that office job which is only \u201cin the way\u201d of my passion\u2026..<\/span><\/p>\n

Now I have done the WORST thing I have ever done in my life.... so, quite seriously: The absolute wildest.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have put my resignation on the boss's table\u2026. WITHOUT having a new job\u2026.. Because now I have to live from my passion!!!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

I WANT TO BE A PHOTOGRAPHER FULL-TIME - I'm doing it! I dare!!<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you knew how nervous I was - and am... but it really is the right choice for me.<\/span><\/p>\n

I LOVE that decision and I can feel in my bones that it IS the right choice\u2026.. I am looking forward to 1\/8 when my adventure REALLY begins.<\/span><\/p>\n

NOW is when I need YOU, guys:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I need all the help I can get to spread the word. I want to ask you for help to tell your boss that I shoot business portraits, to tell your daughters that I shoot model portfolios, to tell your designer friends that I shoot lookbooks, to tell your children that you are going to a photographer with the whole family, to tell your agents that you need new press photos, album covers, book covers, headshots etc etc etc\u2026\u2026 AND that they must be shot at Anja Ekstr\u00f8m Photography?<\/span><\/p>\n
