Model Camp – 2-day intensive workshop

ALL can participate.

This is a workshop aimed for new models with big ambitions and dreams, who wants to take that next step towards fulfilling the model dream, but also at models with experience who need a little nudge and refreshing knowledge/experience.

AGE: From 15 years and up – everyone under 18 years of age must have written permission from a parent/guardian

Please bring: 

One black and one white tight-fitted tube top or tank top with thin straps

A pair of black fitted jeans/pants

A pair of elegant black stilettos

Underwear in nude, black and white (bra with removable straps) that does NOT have a pattern, lace, etc., but is “seamless”. Panties must be in a narrow model and not wide.

Hairbrush/Comb

Hairspray and dry shampoo (and whatever else you usually style with)

Thin elastic hairbands in a color that is discreet in your hair

Hairpins that match your hair color

Makeup kit: Semi-coverage foundation in the right shade, mascara, clear lip gloss, nude lipstick, highlighter, blush in a natural, discreet color, nude nail polish, clear nail polish. Makeup remover and pads or wipes, Body lotion

Requirements such as height and measurements depend a lot on the individual modeling agency, what the client needs and what type of model you aspire to become.

It is therefore not out of the question to become a model, even if you are only 1.70 m tall - then you just don't aim to be a runway model, but can seek a direction such as primarily being a photo model, etc.

If you are curvy with a soft silhouette, that is certainly not a problem either – thank God, that we have become better at including curvy models in agencies and clothing designs and brands have also become more diverse on that front.

So don't worry – if you're a wee bit to one side or the other, there's still plenty of experience and jobs to gain.  

Each modeling agency has their own requirements for models and most often it's MOST about charisma, performance and a look and expression that just shines through in photos and video.

Photographer Anja Ekstrøm (me) will be teaching in collaboration with a professional model/makeup artist and so-me guru, so you get the PERFECT mix of all the aspects you could need as a new model. A professional coach will also stop by and prepare you really well for the modeling career you are aiming to take on.

To accommodate everyone, classes are taught in both Danish and English.

It should be understood as follows: If there is a purely Danish-speaking team, we teach in Danish. If there are international participants, we teach in English.

If you are not comfortable speaking English, that is TOTALLY OK. You can simply ask questions in Danish and I will translate – it is just important that you understand English enough to understand my answer.

Oh YES!! I will spoil you with coffee, water, a fantastic sandwich lunch and some afternoon sweets.

Remember to tell about allergens etc. as soon as you have bought your place at the workshop.

You will receive an intensive workshop spread over 2 days with laser focus on modeling, mental health, makeup, photography and much more!

You will experience a perfect symbiosis between theory and practice. We start the day with a little theory and teaching.

This is followed by practical exercises and tasks such as: applying makeup, being in front of the camera at photoshoots and much, much more.

In addition to gaining a lot of good experience as a model, you will also gain knowledge of social media, makeup and hair, and the industry in general.

It is super important that EVERYONE gets a lot out of it and that is why there is a maximum of 8 participants in each team.

The unity that comes from a small team is unparalleled and you can already start to get excited about participating.

No. Since the content of the workshop is dedicated to those of you who participate and because not everyone may be interested in being on your video

Photography is permitted during the course as long as it does not show the content of the lesson being presented AND those you are taking pictures of are OK with it.

It is SO cool to have a lot of "backstage/mood pictures" and I would love to receive them all from you afterwards.

As I am constantly documenting my workshops for future advertising of future courses, you must be OK with your appearance on visual material and video.

This is material that will be used on social media and my website, printed materials, etc. 

YES YES YES! We are upgrading your portfolio and model book, so PLEASE show them off! It should be mentioned that the images can be used for display on So-Me (Instagram, Facebook, photo groups, etc.) as well as LinkedIn and your own website. Send them to agencies and make them notice you!

Sales, publications in brochures, magazines, etc., as well as competitions, etc. are NOT the intention of the images from the workshop and are not permitted without separate agreement with me.

Crediting the photographer is expected and appreciated.

No, not at all – it will all be presented at the workshop itself, where you will be guided and taught the whole way.
