Description

I introduce you to the world of studio lighting and teach you everything you need to get started:

  • What is a "modifier" and what do you use them for?
  • How to set light for portraits EASILY?
  • How do you create "drama" with light?
  • What is a reflector and when is it used?
  • Is it expensive to buy study lights?
  • How many lamps do I need to buy to get started?

….and much more.

The teaching is a mix between theory and practice. I first teach theoretically, then I show what I mean by doing a "live shoot" so you can see my theory being used in practice. Subsequently, it is YOU who has to lift the camera - because you have to have it in your hands to get the full understanding.

You get one-on-one time with a model so you get practice in instructing the model in posing and expression, etc.

My teaching takes place in a very "non-technical" language ALL can join – even the brand new photographer!

This is primarily a workshop about studio lighting for portraits, beauty, etc., but I present the use of colored light and spots. If more in-depth knowledge is desired, you should instead take the workshop that deals specifically with this.

So grab the camera and let's get started!!

Photography is permitted during the course, as long as it does not show the content of the lesson being presented.

It is SO cool to have a lot of "backstage/mood pictures" and I would love to receive them all from you afterwards.
