Follow along with what we experienced during the week, as each bootcamp contains different elements. I tailor the teaching to the team in front of me, based on level, wishes and opportunities for improvement.
This week featured 3 lovely ladies – one was a brand new photographer, one was in training and the last has photography for a living and is a professional. That is why there are several levels in the teaching, but this just proves that EVERYONE can participate and EVERYONE gets something for their money
In the mornings, I taught how to use Scrim, how to use a reflector, and how to make mixed light between daylight and a lamp. The team got some basic knowledge about the photo technique and so they could practice shooting on "manual" during the week ahead of us.
Photoshoots/hands on training:
Every day there is a beautiful photoshoot planned with a top professional model. Different styles are always chosen for these photoshoots and the models are booked according to that schedule
There is plenty of practice in instructing the model to bring out the expression we wanted in the given mood and vibe. It's about beautiful dresses, waves in the hair and (almost) a martini in hand. It can also be luxury bohemian, classy swimwear, men's fashion and much, much more....
We reviewed daily who the model is and what styling is planned, so that everyone has an idea of what they want from the afternoon's photoshoot. Don't worry - I'm on the "wing" all the way through to instruct and advise.
