There will be physical participation one full day every 2 weeks (at the weekend). The rest of the time, you are expected to practice what you have been taught, so you have something to take with you to get feedback.
There will be homework that must be completed before the next teaching day.
School holidays and public holidays will be avoided. We try to steer clear - that's why it's important that you stay up-to-date according to the attendance schedule
Hell yeah! You must have the very best!
On Wednesday evenings in the weeks when there are NO physical classes, classes are scheduled online
It will typically be from 19-21 that we meet online and then a guest speaker/educator is invited who will teach you everything from Bookkeeping, Customer Psychology, So-Me, Engagement and much much much much more....
This part is the teaching is as mandatory and important as the physical part.
In order to avoid you having to ask for time off at your workplace, we have chosen to hold the classes either on Saturday or Sunday (may vary according to public holidays etc.)
That way, you can take the course alongside a possible full-time job
This is a full teaching day
We meet at 09.00 and are expected to finish between 16.00 and 17.00
The meeting time can be changed for special lessons where we have to go on a "field trip". Here, the meeting time depends on the location we are going to and what is to be taught.
On teaching days with photoshoots, you must bring EVERYTHING you need to shoot pictures. (Camera, Computer (if you shoot tethered), batteries, memory cards, etc.
Anja Ekstrøm Academy provides triggers and lamps etc
REMEMBER that everything must be charged and ready for use.
On teaching days without a photoshoot, you must bring tools to take notes - a good idea is to bring the computer.
On teaching days with retouching: Bring a computer and drawing pad/mouse – whatever you use
REMEMBER TO HAVE UPDATED Photoshop / Lightroom etc
Yes, there is - there is plenty of space for the cars and the training center is also a relatively short distance from S-trains
When you get to know each other, carpooling might be a good idea.
No - the teaching will take place elsewhere. My studio is not big enough, so to give you the ultimate experience, I will find a location that suits what we need. There WILL also be some excursions so that we are not always in the same studio.
No – the education is a private education and you therefore do not earn ECTS points.
Many state-recognised education programs have the option of awarding credit on the basis of this education, but it is entirely up to the individual education institution to assess on a case-by-case basis.
Yes, of course you can. We cater for most financial situations and fully understand that a full payment can be a lot at once.
It is possible to pay the full amount, 50/50 or for 3 months at a time.
Note that there is a financial advantage to paying full price.
If installment payment is desired, this must be agreed directly with Anja Ekstrøm
Hell yeah! without food and drink….
There will be coffee, tea and water for free use
A light lunch and some afternoon sweets are served.
If you want anything else, please bring it yourself.
Allergens, food preferences (vegan/vegetarian/Muslim) must be disclosed to Anja Ekstrøm in an email and this will be taken into account.
There is no right of withdrawal - the training is a "service" and cannot be returned.
If a student suddenly wants to stop the education or does not attend, the full amount will still be charged as the place is dedicated to the student in question.
We can all get sick - it happens. Here we will do what we can to update you and you are welcome to ask your fellow students about their experiences/notes etc.
In case of a higher percentage of absences, we will have a chat with you about whether it is something you are passionate about, but basically it is entirely in your own interest to get as much training as possible, as otherwise we cannot give you a certificate of education when the education ends.
No, she doesn't - the best guest lecturers and guest speakers have been handpicked, all of whom are SUPER skilled in their field.
We have provided for you KRÄS.
Under each teaching point on your schedule, you will see who is teaching the lesson in question.
No - skilled models are provided for most of the lessons (with a few surprises)
YES YES! However, it must be mentioned that the images may be used for display on So-Me (Instagram, Facebook, photo groups, etc.) as well as LinkedIn and your own website. Sales, publications in brochures, magazines, etc. as well as competitions etc. is NOT the intention of the pictures from the lesson and is not allowed. Crediting is always mandatory and you will be told who is to be credited each time.
No. As the content from the teaching is dedicated to you who participate and because you will also see material that has not yet been published, video recordings will be omitted during the course. Photography is permitted during the course, as long as it does not show the content of the lesson as shown on the big screen. Video may be taken in social contexts as long as nothing from teaching is included. Everything with consideration and permission from those who are in the video and also listen to the audio before you publish it - maybe some say something private....
Yes – You must bring your own camera equipment and computer/editing equipment. You must also ensure that you have Photoshop and Lightroom installed. If you shoot tethered to the computer, the necessary software is also something you must provide.
We take care of everything to do with the actual shooting – lights, reflectors, triggers etc.
