Motivational lecture

In my motivational talk, I take you on a personal and inspiring journey. A journey that spans more than 20 years, starting with a steady full-time office job, to finding my true passion in photography.

For more than two decades, I felt drained, empty, and unfulfilled every time I showed up at my office job, but I didn’t understand why. It wasn’t until I accidentally discovered the magic of photography and what “passion” really means that it dawned on me: I had been living without purpose and feeling dead inside because my office job didn’t stimulate me at all—I was simply bored.

Finding your passion…. so something man really Passion changes everything. I started out feeling a little bummed about finding my passion so late in life, but also very grateful, because some people NEVER find their passion. It not only gave me a burning fire inside, but also a bright understanding of why I had been so dissatisfied and unhappy in my previous jobs. 

Taking the leap and becoming self-employed as a “non-technical” photographer, especially at the late age of 38, was a very scary decision. I had bills, a mortgage, and adult responsibilities—I couldn’t just “play around.” Money had to be on the table. But one thing I knew: If I didn’t believe in it myself, why should anyone else? That thought became the fuel to believe in myself and what kept me going.

Today I have made a living from my photography for over a decade and I still do. I work with big brands, travel the world with my camera and have now built a business that is recognized and strong in brand recognition. I teach other photographers workshops, run photography bootcamps in Spain, I've published books and launched online courses — all because I dare believe in my dream even though I am neither technically inclined nor thought I was a natural entrepreneur

In this 1-1.5 hour long motivational lectures I share my ups and downs—the struggles, the fears, the doubts, and ultimately the victories. My story is for anyone who feels stuck, uninspired or afraid to follow their passion. I'm living proof that it's never too late to start and that your dreams are worth pursuing, no matter what challenges come your way. If I could do it, so can you. Let me show you how to dare to believe in yourself and take the leap.
